About Us

DotElastic provides consulting to firms who are intent on exploiting public cloud as the foundation and enabler for their business, whether that be starting with a fresh slate or a transformation.

Our company name is part-inspired by Carl Sagan's 'pale blue dot' and reflects our mission to apply our skills to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy in two principle ways: help high-scale enterprises transition to public cloud, and support innovative firms who are directly tackling the energy transition and need a partner to build the supporting digital infrastructure and software.

The greenest energy is the energy we don't use. Public cloud promotes a consumption pattern that only uses energy when there is work to be done. If there is work to be done, and energy to be used, it needs to be done efficiently using renewable sources. Hyperscalers are able to operate at extreme levels of utilisation and efficiency and are set to be 100% powered by renewables by 2025.
